there’s a bit in moulin where pages is described as having “singularly awful longhand” and like. it’s a space bat with an uncertain amount of knuckles, i’m using a human pen, whats my excuse

1) mug on a table labeled ‘FIRST CUP OF DARKDROP COFFEE EVER SPOTTED IN LONDON’. archie labeled 'INTENSE PROFESSIONAL SUSPICION’.

2) griz: Hang on, is that coffee?? I thought the city ran out ages ago!

archie: Not sure. The vendor was extremely shifty about where it came from. Even by the standards of most food sellers in the 19th century.

3) archie: It might kill me, but on the other hand I am kind of desperate

griz: Goodness, I never would’ve guessed.
